We promote global deployment of carbon negative fuel with a positive environmental & social impact.
The case for carbon negativity:
In July 2008, the G8 leaders agreed to set policies limiting total global warming to 2 deg C.
Current levels of atmospheric greenhouse gases show a high probability of raising the earth’s temperature over 2 deg C from pre-industrial emissions.
Many developing countries are building large-scale coal-fired power plants and other fossil energy sources more quickly than ever before.
As a result, developments in carbon negative technologies that integrate with and add value to existing fossil energy assets are needed. While efforts to produce energy from carbon-neutral methods has gained much ground, often these technologies are too costly or unavailable to the areas that need it most.
Even if we were to stop developing all new coal and petroleum power plants, immediately replacing them with carbon neutral solutions such as wind, solar and hydro – we will still experience greater than 2 degrees of warming.
We believe we have a system that is low-cost, scalable and easy enough to deploy to make a major impact on global greenhouse gas drawdown.
Our plan is to deploy a multi-gigaton carbon drawdown and diversion enterprise utilizing simple to deploy, low-tech solutions that are suitable for both large installations and developing economies. Our primary focus is on the production of high-BTU liquid fuels (diesel, kerosene and jet fuel) that drive 98% of the world’s economy and are the lifeblood of developing economies around the world.
